Welding Shop
Our welding shop is one of Fort St. John’s finest. We have all the equipment, tools, and personnel to repair and fabricate all of our own equipment (i.e. garbage bins, 400bbl. tanks, mud tanks, shale tanks, etc.). We would even be glad to build anything to customer specifications.
Our 5000 square foot welding shop is equipped with an American Hercules Shear Press, Ermak Brake Press, Scotchsman, and Bertsch & Company Roller.
American Hercules Shear Press
This shear press can cut up to 3/8” steel at 10 feet.
Ermak Brake Press
This new Ermak Hydraulic Brake Press is capable of manipulating up to ½” steel at 12 feet, and compressing 220 tones at 12 feet.
Scotchsman
This 65 tone Scotchsman is multipurpose. It can punch holes, shear up to 3/8” steel, and includes a 2 foot brake press. There are several other attachments available for this machine, enabling it to do things we can only dream of.
Bertsch & Company Roller
This roller is able to roll channel iron, angle iron, steel plates up to 8 feet wide, and 3/8” thick. This machine is older, but as efficient and accurate as the day it was built.
